Slip selected as a 2025 Cohort Company by New York Fashion Tech Lab

Slip has officially joined the prestigious 2025 cohort of the New York Fashion Tech Lab (NYFTLab), a leading accelerator programme that connects women-led B2B technology innovators with top-tier brands and retailers . As one of six companies chosen from a competitive field, Slip is poised to drive meaningful transformation in fashion and retail through its cutting-edge solutions.

Why This Matters

Now in its 12th year, NYFTLab is supported by heavyweight partners including lululemon, Gap Inc., J.Crew, Saks, The TJX Companies, AEO Inc., and Tapestry . Over the next 12 weeks, Slip will participate in a rigorous programme that includes workshops, weekly sessions, and strategic introductions - culminating in a Demo Day in mid‑June. 

NYFTLab’s Managing Director, Jackie Trebilcock, noted that the selected startups reflect “the industry’s most pressing priorities,” ranging from circular economy and personalisation to in‑store analytics and post‑purchase solutions. Slip is leading the charge in customer‑centric innovation, aligning squarely with these critical industry themes.

What’s Next

Slip and the five other cohort companies, including Athena Studios, KSI Vision, LiquiDonate, Spangle AI, and Vody, will present their innovations to a live audience of investors, industry leaders, and media in June at the Demo Day. 

Following the showcase, Slip will carry forward its momentum to further its US market penetration and build out retail partnerships informed by the Lab’s feedback and introductions.
